James Daniel married Salley Cocke

The index entry for this bond shows the name Cocke written over the name Cooke (an error). I believe this is the cause of the claim that a James Daniel married a Sarah Cooke, and he has been identified as the James Daniel who died in 1785. However, there is no Granville record that indicates such a Daniel/Cooke marriage, not the marriage, land, court, or probate records.
